Hydration is a Summer Beauty Essential
As a Rhode Beauty Ambassador,
I have had the privilege of testing out the two new Rhode Products launching just in time for our scorching hot LA summer.
As someone who struggles with sensitive, dry skin the summers tend to be an issue for me. If I spend time in the sun I typically worry about dry spots, sensitivity reactions, and my skin getting dry if I spend the day swimming. It’s typically a give and take situation for me..a fun day outside = a few days trying to figure out what will help my skin, but not anymore!
A part of the reason I joining the Rhode Beauty team was because of their mindfulness for essential & useful ingredients.
Intentional skincare is key for so many reasons.
You do not want to be applying a million different ingredients and chemicals to your face when you are already struggling with the effects of a hot, sweaty, and dry summer and that is what Rhode is about.

As someone who has dealt with skin issues, I understand our mission statement to its core. Creating products with only key ingredients is what Rhode is all about. Our Glazing Milk and Peptide Glazing Fluid are two of our staple products that I swear by. No pun intended but these two products help retain moisture and hydration so well, you could look like a delish glazed donut,
Refreshing & Replenishing what our Skin needs
Our two new products I had the chance to be a part of and work on directly as a newly appointed Ambassador are our Pineapple Refresh cleanser and Raspberry Jelly Lip Peptide Serum. It was not intentional initially naming these two new products after foods again..but after all you are what you eat! These two products exhibit that by exhibiting the hydrating power of two seasonal fruits.
Our summer collection will launch these two fruity, hydrating, and replenishing products that encompass Rhode’s commitment to intentional beauty.

About Me!
Hi, I’m Esperanza! I am a multifaceted student currently finishing undergraduate degrees in Communication and Spanish, while also pursuing my master’s degree in Public Relations and Advertising. I have always been the type to ‘juggle’ several projects at once and that is how I would describe my academic and early professional career thus far. My interest in these three diverse sectors are rooted in my high school experience. As a highly involved Senior from the Class of 2020, seeing the impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic transform how we interact, and the roles of media, entertainment, and technology in interconnecting us with the world, regardless of our physical placement was impactful for me. The media, entertainment, and technology industries in particular are fusing in many ways and enhancing my knowledge of public relations and advertising will better equip me to assist companies’ navigation of advertising in a more culturally connected world. My experience thus far spans from working with global marketing agency The A List, Comcast the larget American multinational telecommunications and media conglomerate, and this summer I will be joining their sister company NBC and working in the entertainment sector.
Beyond my career endeavors, I believe growing up in Los Angeles has allowed me to experience diverse perspectives and communities, deciphering what makes them different and having unique takeaways that have shaped me into who I am today. I love sharing stories and solving puzzles, which can be translated into my career, hobbies, and interests. I am an avid Wordle player, love spending time with my dog Molly, and will jump at the chance anytime to create the perfect outfit for any occasion.
